We have officially begun the journey in to Icecrown and victory over the Lich King. And with only 41 days left to Cata we are going to have to push hard to master ICC.

The first ICC run tonight was a clear of wing 1 and we stopped at Rotface. We had a few issues on trash initially (damn Wards and no Rogue to ID traps). We probably are NOT in any position to grab the GLORY OF THE ICECROWN RAIDER just yet. But with the caliber of players we have and with the help and knowledge of some ICC veterans we might just get there prior to Cata.

We had some decent loot drop. I FINALLY got a new metal disc to help take off some of the damage. My old shield was ilvl 200...just sad. But unless you were running Uld regularly months back or ICC more recently, there just were not many options for a better shield. First raid and I bagged Neverending Winter. Not only was it a major upgrade but it looks damn nice too!

It's nice to finally be raiding again non-pugnacious after an 8 month break from the old guild. And it is particularly kewl to be doing with such a great group. No piss-talkers, no flaming egos, just the foundations of camaraderie.

Thanks to everyone who attended and particularly Nevaru our GM for making it possible and Deminity for your raid calling.  Let's hear it from you...what did you think of our official start tonight? And for you stat-a-holics (or those still trying to tweak from the 4.0.1 patch) the World of Logs data has been posted for Monday's run. Enjoy!

Welcome to the Guild site of R E V E R E N C E of Lightnings' Blade! Reverence is a casual raiding guild with intent on raid progession while having a great time playing the best MMO in the world. Many of the foundational members are previously from "hard core" raiding guilds that were looking to "take it down a notch" and enjoy the game more.

That said, we are forming our core raiding groups now. 10-man ICC runs start 10/26/10. We will run 3-4 raids a week, the 4th being a "fun" raid on Sundays. If you enjoy raiding and have a solid understanding of your class mechanics and a Gear Score of 4800+, head over to the Guild Recruitment section of our site and drop us an application for the core team. Others are more than welcome to apply as well and we will be building to a core 25-man team as quickly as possible. Please be sure to mention the name of the person that recruited you so we can give credit where due.

CORE RAIDING GROUP IS FORMING!

We start ICC 10-man this week and will likely try a Ruby Sanctum run. Please see your calendars for invites. Signing up means that YOU WILL BE THERE. Please do not sign up if you are uncertain of your availability and out of respect for your guildmates. There is nothing more frustrating than being all ready to go and only 80% of the group online. Please be online and on Vent 15-30 minutes ahead of the start time. Have all of your food, water, reagents and so forth reasdy to go. Now let's go kick some azz!
